About the ORW

I am a part time artisan/craftsman/handyman. (I have a day job in an office building) I find this a good way to enjoy some creativity.

I operate out of a slightly cluttered workspace in the middle of a midsized town in the middle of the mid-west. I have my tools handy, my inspirations nearby and a journal to keep my ideas in. Along with that, there are always a couple of canine assistants helping in the shop. What more could one ask for?

Maybe:

A steaming mug of hot Coffee with a splash of real cream early in the morning

The smell of sawdust, the sound of a screen door, and a glimpse of birds flying among the trees

A cool, frosty glass of amber beer while sitting around the firepit out back in the evening

Dogs underfoot the entire time

Some spare time to enjoy such things . . .
