Manhole Cover Coffee Table (I am pretty sure Mrs. B doesn’t sell these at Nebraska Furniture Mart)

Challenge: to create a table using a liberated manhole cover that was found in the Beatrice area. I liked the idea, and quickly formed a design. Neither round or square seemed appropriate, so here is what I came up with. Solid Oak and steel (cast iron ?) – Very heavy!!!
