The Old Raven has been away from the shop, working on special projects!

Every now and then the Old Raven gets stuck on projects away from the shop. his year has been especially bad for that (or good? Who is to say….) I have not put a new item in the Esty store for about a year, being pretty busy with other projects. Here is one of the latest.

At an ‘undisclosed’ location, the Old Raven has been building a deck. Framing is now complete, and the next step is to add the decking. Decking should go on in the next week or two. (Decking is set in place right now so ‘Old Raven daughter and grand puppy can access the back yard, but still needs to be properly attached.)

After decking we will need to add railings and a footer for the steps. the footer will wait for spring; the railings will probably get done before that, depending upon the weather.

You may note that ‘Rocket’ is in the picture. Since Rocket’s owner purchased her own place, he moved out with her and is no longer a full-time employee at the ORW. He still has his pass and access credentials for the ORW, he is considered a ‘part time assistant’; and as always, he is a Good boy!! 🙂
