The PRIUS OF POWER vs PRINCESS PICKUP – or How I built a bed extender for my car so I could hall lumber like a boss.

I have several friends who have purchased overpriced, pickups that they refuse to haul anything in. These are generally overpriced models with fancy upgrade packages that include airconditioned seats, off-road capability, cool spider or motorcycle logo stickers, or Pink Pony club logos emblazoned on them.  (except for friend Larry – his Ford Range is probably the smallest truck in the list, but he actually hauls stuff in his pickup. He has helped out multiple times with projects. . . but the rest of ya’ll – you know who you are…..)  Why do you own a fancy azz Princess Pickup, with all the macho bling, but refuse to actually take it off road or to haul anything bigger than a double whopper order from McD’s ?   Just askin.

Now that I have Vented, here is my solution:  PRIUS-OF-POWER Bed Extender and Board Hauler.

I have made a custom bed extender that fits into the trailer hitch.   I have hauled upto 12 foot boards with this device.

Driving home from Menards, I was passed by countless empty Princess Pickups, mostly hauling a single driver….  Yup, seems about right!  Yet the PRIUS OF POWER simply plugs along.

And while I am on the subject of Princess Pickups; what is with hanging a pair of fake testicles off of the bumper hitch?  If your truck was created WITHOUT testicles, and you add them, that just makes your truck a trans-truck.  With all of the anti DEI and anti-Trans stuff going on, I am surprised that anyone would advertise their truck’s gender dysphoria issues.  Personally I don’t judge, nor care, and I think it is nice that you support your vehicle’s transition to the gender it identifies with.  Too bad we can’t have that same respect for our fellow humans.

And While I am on the topic, are you aware that the PRISU OF POWER is faster than a Ford Mustang?   Don’t believe me?   HAH!!

0-60 Times | Find 0 to 60 & Quarter Mile Times Car Specs

2016 Prius C  =  0-60 10.9 / Quarter Mile 17.9

1980 Ford Mustang =  0-60 11.7 / Quarter Mile 18.3

1974 Ford Mustang II  =  0-60 15.5 / Quarter Mile 19.2

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it is not ALL Ford Mustangs, and some folks will argue that the Mustang II does not count, But I didn’t give it the name or the brand, talk to Ford about that!  HAH!   Long live the PRIUS-OF-POWER!!!!!!!
