Tiki King Seafoam Gimlet – Official drink of the Old Raven Workshop
Sometimes a Beer just is not festive enough for the situation. In that case the ORW go-to is the Tiki King Sea foam Gimlet. Enjoy!

1 1/2 Oz Gin
1 Oz Roses lime Juice
1 cap full of Blue Curacao
Shake over crushed Ice / serve with Orange slice.
Crisp, Sweet, tart, Citrus with a nice Gin bite.
I like the classic Bombay Dry Gin. It is a bit ‘harsher’ than the Bombay Saphire, and gives this drink a solid, less flowery flavor. This beverage is sweet enough, gives a great flavor and packs a punch.
Crushed Ice. Boom. Not that silly stuff your freezer spits out of the ‘filtered’ ice crusher. People don’t keep up with the filter replacements, and there is always a ‘funk’. Using moldy smelling ice is a sure-fire way to ruin a beverage. Yuck! I use filtered water (what we drink daily and freeze in ice cube trays.) Then to crush, I use a vintage ‘Dazey Rocket’ ice crusher. I take of the bottom part of the Rocket and crush the ice directly into the Martini shaker.

Dazey Rocket Ice Crusher – Using crushed ice provides more surface area and better chills the drink.
